Public Sector Organization Jobs invites applications for job positions of Environmental Specialist, Communication Specialist, Procurement Specialist and Contract Management Specialist.

Qualification and Experience

Procurement and Contract Management Specialist

1. Master’s Degree (at least sixteen years of education) in Business Management / Engineering/Economics/Finance/ Social Sciences. Degree in Procurement Management, / Project Management/Supply Chain would be accorded more weightage.
2. Candidate having procurement related certifications like Member Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS) from CIPS, UK, Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) from ISM, USA, or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from APICS/ASCM, or equivalent shall be preferred.
3. At least eight (8) years of documentary verifiable experience in procurement goods, works, & consulting services) with the subnational/ national /international agencies in procurement.
4. Hands-on experience on the standard Procurement documents.
5. Excellent written and oral communication skills, in both English and Urdu, to develop and process complex technical documents, reports, papers and recommendations.

Communication Specialist

1. Masters’ Degree (16 years of education) in Mass Communication, Media Sciences, or equivalent with a minimum of 7 years of experience in communication management with reform related assignments.
2. Excellent written and oral communication skills, in both English and Urdu, to deliver complex documents, reports, papers and recommendations to the PIU. Experience on donor funded projects shall be preferred.
3. The incumbent must have a good exposure and knowledge about social media management, below the line and above the line media management.

Junior Environmental Specialist

1. Master’s Degree in ‘Environmental Sciences/ Engineering (or a relevant discipline) from a recognized university.
2. 5 years of relevant experience in preparation and implementation, and monitoring/ supervision of environmental impact assessment and environmental management plan of various projects, preferably in municipal services sector.
3. Well versed with national and international standards for Environment Quality.
4. Experience in occupational health and safety and community health and safety is preferred.
5. Experience of similar work on World Bank financed projects using the World Bank Safeguard Policies and EHS Guidelines and procedures will be a strong advantage.
6. Well-developed planning and organization skills to manage environment safeguards for multi-sectoral municipal projects.
7. Excellent written and oral communication skills, in both English and Urdu, to deliver complex technical documents, reports, papers and recommendations to the PIU.
