Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jobs 2023 at GEPCO – Gujranwala Electric Power Company Limited in Punjab, Pakistan. GEPCO is a prominent public electric utility company with over 17,000 employees that strives to provide uninterrupted electricity to over 4.1 million valued consumers. They are currently looking for a suitable candidate to fill the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Areas Of Responsibility:

• The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for working closely with the Board of Directors (GEPCO) and developing a strategic plan to promote the Company’s mission and objectives.
• The candidate must have leadership skills, management experience, and excellent communication skills.
• They should be able to work well in a team and encourage a creative environment for efficient operation.
• The candidate must also be willing to be an agent of change and submit their achievements to the Ministry of Energy (Power Division) on a quarterly basis.

Qualifications, Experience & Age:

We need a highly qualified professional for a job. The candidate should be a Pakistani citizen with good education and experience of working in big companies or groups. They should have at least 20 years of experience, with 10 years in power distribution sector and 3 years in senior management. They should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute or be a member of a professional body of accountants. The candidate should not be over 60 years old when the advertisement closes.

Remuneration:

The selected candidate will be given a salary package that matches their qualifications and experience and is competitive with the market standards.

Tenure:

The first agreement will last for three years and may be extended based on the individual’s performance.

A signed “Declaration” on non-judicial Stamp Paper of Rs. 100, stating that the candidate is not ineligible to act as a Chief Executive Officer, as per the Fit and Proper Criteria prescribed in the Schedule II of the Public Sector Companies (Appointment of Chief Executive) Guidelines, 2015 and Schedule IV of the State Owned Enterprises (Governance & Operations) Act, 2023.
  2.  Detailed CV, experience certificates, a recent passport size photograph, and a copy of CNIC or passport.
  3. Copies of degrees duly verified by the Higher Education Commission HEC or the relevant Professional Body or Association.
