Applying Online for Professor/Associate Professor Posts:

• Candidates applying for the posts of Professor/Associate Professor should apply online by logging into the NTU Job Portal and uploading the filled dossier on the portal. (Dossier Format is available at NTU Job Portal).
• Applicants for all positions are required to submit a hard copy of the filled application along with one complete signed copy of the application/dossier/Challan form/all attested relevant academic degrees/valid experience certificates/CNIC/domicile/photograph/first page of Research publications/Evidence of Research fundings/Any other relevant document.

Manual Application for Posts of Scale 01 to 04:

Candidates applying against posts of Scale 01 to 04 will apply by sending manual applications available at: https://ntu.edu.pk/downloads.php).

Job Application Processing Fee:

The Job Application Processing Fee will be deposited through the challan form in any online branch of National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) as per the following details: Application without processing fee will not be processed. Any other mode of payment will not be entertained.

• BPS-20 Eqv & above/Professor/Associate Professor = Rs. 2,000/-
• BPS-17-19 Eqv./Assistant Professor/Lecturer = Rs. 1,000/-
• BPS 05-16 Eqv. = Rs. 500/-
• BPS-01-04 Eqv. No Fee.

Important Notes:

• Existing Employees of NTU, who are already working on BPS regular, may be considered for BPS regular appointment after open competition.
• BPS contract scales will be entitled to get Contributory Provident Fund in lieu of pension as per University policy.
• For Faculty posts, the specialization of the candidates must be relevant either in undergraduate degree or postgraduate research to the applied posts.
• The age limit mentioned in the advertisement includes the upper age limit as per Govt. general age relaxation rule. Other age relaxation rules will be applied as per University Policy.
• The University reserves the right to fill any position/withhold the appointment against advertised posts or to accept/reject the application without assigning any reason.
• The number of seats may be increased/decreased. Selected candidates may be transferred to any campus of NTU as per university policy.
• For test/interview, no TA/DA will be admissible. Written tests to shortlist the candidates may be conducted by the university where required/policy. Decision of the University shall remain binding in all cases.
• In-service Applicants working in Govt./Semi Govt. Organizations/Autonomous Bodies should apply through the proper channel and will submit a No Objection Certificate from their current employer. However, the University may entertain advance copies.
