Government of Punjab Finance Department Job Opportunities 2023. A job advertisement published on 31 May 2023 in the daily Express Tribune Newspaper invites applications for various vacant positions in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. The positions include Procurement Specialist, Legal Affairs Specialist, Communication Specialist, Business Process Re-engineering Expert, SAP Expert, E-Procurement Expert, MTBF Expert, Econometric Modeling Expert, IT Expert, Tax Expert, MIS Expert, Project Finance Expert, and Asset Management Expert.

About Department:
The Finance Department of the Government of Punjab has secured funding from the World Bank for the Punjab Resource Improvement & Digital Effectiveness (PRIDE) Program. The program aims to enhance Own Source Revenue, ensure reliable resource allocation, and provide improved digital services to the people and businesses in Punjab. The program’s objectives align with the government’s expenditure framework in three Result Areas: strengthened budget formulation and fiscal risk management, increased use of digital technology for selected public services, and enhanced collection of Own Source Revenue.
To implement and coordinate program activities, the Finance Department has established the Public Financial Management Unit (PFMU) and intends to utilize a portion of the loan proceeds for consulting services, specifically Individual Consultants/Sector Specialists in various areas for the PFMU.
