The Higher Education Commission HEC Researcher Competition Jobs
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) is offering an exclusive opportunity to all researchers to participate in the HEC Researcher Competition. This competition will recognize the best and most innovative researchers in the country and will provide a platform to showcase their work.
The competition is open to all Pakistani researchers and scholars who are interested in applying for the award. The applicants must have a master’s degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institute in the relevant field. The applicants should also have an excellent track record of research publications in national and international journals.
Award Categories
The awards will be given in three categories: Best Researcher, Best Young Researcher and Best Publication. The award for Best Publication will have a special emphasis on research publications on the constitution of Pakistan in view of the Golden Jubilee of 1973 Constitution of Pakistan.
Eligibility Criteria
General Eligibility criteria for the awards is that the applicant must have never been blacklisted by HEC, and the applicant/publication must not have received the same award earlier. Additionally, none of the publications on the applicant/author’s credit must be plagiarized as per HEC plagiarism policy. Read more details in attached advertisement.
How to apply
- To apply for the award, applicants must submit an application form via the HEC online portal. The application form should include details of the applicant’s research accomplishments, educational background, and research interests. It should also include the applicant’s research plan and the proposed timeline for the completion of the research project.
- The deadline for application submission is Wednesday, April 26, 2023. Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained. Applicants are required to submit the completed application forms along with the relevant documents before the due date.
- The award winners will be announced on the HEC website. Successful applicants will receive a certificate of recognition and a cash prize. The winners will also have the opportunity to travel to conferences and seminars related to their research to present their work.
