The Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad is offering one-year House Job training to fresh medical graduates for the 2023-24 session. Interested candidates are invited to apply for the available slots, subject to the following terms and conditions. PIMS has published a job advertisement in the daily Ausaf Newspaper dated 18th April 2023, inviting applications for the positions of House Job Training, Doctor/ House Officer/ Dental Doctor/ Dentist in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria for the House Job training program are as follows:

1. The candidate must have an MBBS/BDS or equivalent degree registered by the PM&DC.
2. A valid provisional registration with the PM&DC is required.
3. Private/foreign graduates may apply, but they must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) and a confirmation letter of payment of stipend from their parent college/hospital. They must also submit a certificate issued by the parent college confirming that the candidate did not face any disciplinary action during their stay in the college.
4. Candidates who are currently undergoing training in other institutions are not eligible to apply.

General Information / Requirements:

• To apply for the OMBBS program, interested candidates must meet certain requirements. These requirements include possessing an OMBBS degree with detailed mark certificates for all professional exams, having a valid provisional registration with PM&DC, obtaining a Domicile Certificate, providing a Character Certificate, CNIC, and three passport-size photographs, and providing certificates for Matric, F.Sc, or their equivalent.
• The selection of candidates for the OMBBS program will be strictly based on open merit and will be final based on the approved academic/test/interview criteria. Only eligible candidates will be invited for the test/interview process. Incomplete applications or those submitted after the stipulated deadline will not be considered by PIMS.
• It is important to provide accurate information on the application form. Any incorrect information provided may lead to rejection of the application(s).
• Interested candidates should submit their application forms and required documents to the R&I Branch at PIMS, Sector G-8/3, Islamabad within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication.
