Punjab University PU Jobs 2023 – The University of Punjab UOP Lahore

The University of Punjab (UOP) or Punjab University (PU), located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan, has announced vacancies for the positions of Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, and Lecturer, as per the advertisement published in the Daily Dawn Newspaper on July 29, 2023. To be eligible for these positions, candidates should possess a Master’s degree, MPhil, or PhD. The closing date for applications is October 2, 2023.

PU is inviting applications from distinguished, dynamic, qualified, and motivated Pakistani nationals for various positions on a Basic Scale (BS). The eligibility criteria set by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) will be applicable across all subjects. Interested candidates can find these criteria on the HEC or Punjab University’s website.

During the online application submission, candidates must provide a valid personal email address and mobile number as all communication will be conducted via email.

Candidates must ensure the following points:

  1. Complete all fields in the web-generated application form; no field should be left blank.
  2. Submit a hard copy (duly signed) of the online application form, along with an updated CV, attested copies of degrees, certificates, testimonials, a 1×1 photograph, and the first page of each research paper (showing the journal’s name, research paper title, research paper category per HEC classification, author’s name, publisher’s name, and ISSN Number, etc.).
  3. For those applying for the posts of Professor and Associate Professor, in addition to the hard copy, a soft copy of the online application form should be submitted on a USB drive. The USB should contain attested copies of degrees, certificates, testimonials, a 1×1 photograph, and complete research papers in a PDF file.
  4. The size of the PDF file should not exceed 20 MB.
