How to Apply

1. Interested applicants for all positions are required to submit a complete application/dossier in the prescribed proforma, which can be obtained from the official website of Quaid-i-Azam University (www.qau.edu.pk). The application should include all necessary documents, such as attested degrees, experience certificates, CNIC, domicile, etc., in a bound form. For teaching positions, applicants must also submit a soft copy of their application/dossier in PDF format on a CD/DVD. The applications should be sent to the office of the Assistant Registrar (Establishment) at QAU, Islamabad within 60 days for teaching positions and 30 days for non-teaching positions.
2. The University reserves the right to fill positions on the BPS (Basic Pay Scale) or TTS (Tenure Track System). Any new policy decision made by the Syndicate regarding this matter will be applicable to this advertisement. Applicants applying for positions in BPS-17 and above must submit their application dossiers along with a Bank Draft (from any bank) or a paid challan (only from HBL Quaid-i-Azam University branch) of Rs. 2,000/- (non-refundable), drawn in favor of the Treasurer, Quaid-i-Azam University. Applicants from abroad should submit their application dossiers along with a Bank Draft of US $100/- (non-refundable), also drawn in favor of the Treasurer, Quaid-i-Azam University.
3. Applicants who are currently employed in Government/Semi-Government Organizations/Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channels within the specified deadline, along with duly attested service certificates issued by their present and former employer(s). Failure to do so will result in the non-consideration of their applications. However, the University may accept advance copies if clearly mentioned.
4. The upper age limit for non-teaching positions will be in accordance with the rules set by the Federal Government.
5. Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be entertained.
6. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
7. Eligible candidates are encouraged to apply. Selected candidates will be governed by the Quaid-i-Azam University Service Statutes and rules/regulations that are subject to amendments from time to time.
8. Applications are treated as confidential documents and will be disposed of appropriately after the appointment process.
