The University of Agriculture, D.I. Khan is inviting applications from Pakistani nationals for various faculty and administrative positions on a fixed pay package. These positions are purely on a contract basis and will be initially for a period of one year. However, they may be extendable further based on the satisfactory performance of the candidates.

The University of Agriculture has published a job advertisement in the Daily Express newspaper on 30th April 2023. The announcement invites applications for various vacancies, including Assistant Director IT, Associate Professor, Animal Attendant, Naib Imam Mosque, Mail Rider, Transport Officer, Clerk, Superintendent, Law Officer, Demonstrator Veterinary Animal Sciences, Secretary, Assistant Director QEC, Naib Qasid, Assistant Registrar, Assistant Professor, Lab Attendant, Assistant Director ORIC, Accountant, Procurement Officer, Security Officer, Farm Superintendent, Assistant Engineer, Electrician, Driver, Cleaner, Khadim Mosque, Professor, Chowkidar, Helper, Mali, Teaching Assistant, Store Attendant, Field Superintendent, Lecturer, and Conductor. These positions are available in Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), Pakistan. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply.

Preference will be given to candidates with educational backgrounds in MS, Masters, LLB, PhD, MPhil, Middle, Bachelors, Intermediate, M.Com, Matric, MBA, and other relevant fields.

How to Apply

1. Applicants must apply on the prescribed Application Form available at the University’s website: https://www.uad.edu.pk OR at the office of the Registrar, University of Agriculture, D.I. Khan.
2. The detailed Bio-data and attested/verified photocopies of all DMCs, Degrees, and Certificates, CNIC, Experience Certificates and two recent passport size photographs must be attached with the Application Form.
3. Applications processing Fee (Non-Refundable) of Rs. 3000/- for S.No.1-6, Rs.2000/- for S.No.7-22, and Rs.1000/- for S.No.23-35 shall be deposited in any branch of Bank of Khyber Limited in Account No. 3003771977, Branch (0129).
4. The original fee deposit slip must be attached with the application form. Application(s) with deposit slip(s) of less than the prescribed amount of processing fee shall not be processed.
5. Separate application shall be submitted for each advertised post.
6. The candidates serving in Government, Semi Government or Autonomous Institutions must apply through proper channel, otherwise their applications will not be considered.
7. Only eligible shortlisted candidates will be called for Test / Interview. No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview and original documents shall have to be produced at the time of interview.
8. University will not be held responsible for non-receipt or late receipt of Call Letters for Test / Interview, and the issue shall be taken up with concerned courier service.
9. Maximum age limit for Faculty Positions will be 55 Years while for administrative and support staff positions age limit will be 45 years.
10. Less than 3.00 CGPA will be considered as 2nd division.
11. Candidates having foreign degrees/certificates must provide equivalency certificate from HEC/PEC/IBCC Islamabad.
12. The University reserves the right to increase/decrease/withhold or not to fill any advertised post.
13. Incomplete applications or applications received after due date will not be entertained.
14. Territorial Jurisdiction/Limits as notified by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from time to time in light of Section 4 of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Universities Act, 2012 (amended up-to-date) is applicable on the advertised posts from BPS-01 to BPS-16.
15. Errors & Omissions, if any, will be subject to rectification by the University.
16. Last date for submission of applications is May 15, 2023. Note: The process of Recruitment and filling up the positions will be subject to approval/permission of the Chancellor, University of Agriculture, D.I. Khan and Election Commission of Pakistan.
