University of Sahiwal Jobs 2023 – Non Teaching Staff Requried

The University of Sahiwal is seeking applications for various non-teaching positions in 2023. The job vacancies were advertised in the daily Nawaiwaqt newspaper on 29th June 2023. Interested candidates are invited to apply for these positions, which are available in Sahiwal, Punjab, Pakistan.

The University of Sahiwal has announced multiple job positions for non-teaching staff. The vacancies include the positions of Security Officer, Sanitary Worker, Sub Engineer Civil, Plumber, Assistant Engineer, Tractor Driver, Assistant Programmer, Driver, Assistant Controller of Examination, Telephone Operator, Assistant, Lab Attendant, Staff Officer, Transport Officer, Lab Assistant, HTV Driver, Beldar, Cleaner, Lady Searcher, Mali, Auditor, Clerk, Assistant Registrar, Network Administrator, Registrar, Database Administrator, Naib Qasid, Loader Driver, Electrician, Bus Driver, Assistant Librarian, Accountant, Car Driver, Store Keeper, LTV Driver, Female Sanitary Worker, Tube Well Operator, Controller of Examination, Conductor Cook and Assistant Engineer Civil.

Terms and Conditions of the Advertisement

1. Candidates applying for the aforementioned posts are required to submit one set of attested copies of all documents, including application forms, degrees, results cards, transcripts, and certificates.
2. If the degree has not been issued, a certificate signed by the Controller of Examination can be accepted.
3. Experience must be supported by certificates from previous employers.
4. Application forms can be downloaded from the university’s website: www.uosahiwal.edu.pk.
5. Applicants applying for multiple positions should submit separate application forms with all necessary documents.
6. Applications must be accompanied by a non-refundable bank draft or postal order in favor of “University of Sahiwal” as per the following details:
   • Rs. 2500/- for BPS-20
   • Rs. 2000/- for BPS-17
   • Rs. 1000/- for BPS-11 to BPS-16
   • Rs. 500/- for BPS-01 to BPS-07 
7. The mentioned amounts can also be deposited through a bank challan at the University of Sahiwal UBL (Farid Town Branch Sahiwal) A/C # 1672-79012994-52, and the original deposit slip should be attached to the application form.
8. A recent passport-size photograph should be affixed to the application form.
9. Candidates already employed in a government, semi-government, or autonomous body must apply through the proper channel within the given deadline. Applications received after the closing date will not be entertained, even if they were posted before the deadline. The age limit for fresh candidates will be as notified by the Government of Punjab.
10. Applications received after the last/closing date will not be entertained, even if they were posted before the deadline.
11. The initial contract will be for one year, with the possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance.
12. Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
13. Applications must be sent to the office of the “Additional Registrar, University of Sahiwal” by hand or courier services.
14. The last/closing date for the submission of applications for all positions is 04-08-2023 (during office hours).
15. 3% quota will be reserved for disabled persons, who must submit a certificate from the Provincial Council for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons or the Social Welfare Department.
16. All other quotas will be reserved as per the notifications of the Government of Punjab, if applicable.
17. Shortlisting of candidates will be conducted in accordance with the university’s procedure.
18. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
19. The university reserves the right not to fill/withdraw any advertised post or withhold appointments without providing a reason.
20. The university will not be responsible if interview call letters are not received due to any issues with the courier agency, post office, or telephonic message.
