University of Gujrat (UOG) at Hafiz Hayat Campus, Gujrat, Punjab, Pakistan, is announcing job openings for multiple positions in the education department. This job advertisement was published in the daily Jang Newspaper on June 20, 2023.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates who are Pakistani nationals (males/females) and possess the qualities of being dynamic, dedicated, and competent professionals in their respective fields. The University of Gujrat (UOG) is currently inviting applications from qualified candidates for several positions. These include Assistant Professor Mechanical Engineering, Psychology, Education, Political Science, Law, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Economics, and History. The university also has openings for a Professor in Political Science and an Assistant Professor in an unspecified discipline. Individuals who meet the qualifications and are interested in these positions are encouraged to apply at the University of Gujrat.

How to Apply

1. To apply for the aforementioned positions, interested candidates should submit their applications to the HR-Section, Registrar Office, Admin Block, 1st Floor, Room # 104, Hafiz Hayat Campus, University of Gujrat no later than 05-07-2023. The university provides job application forms, along with the advertisement, Employment Verification Proforma (EVP), and Publication Verification Proforma, which can be downloaded from the official UOG website at www.uog.edu.pk. Only application forms uploaded on the university’s website will be accepted.

2. Candidates who have previously applied for the post of Professor (Political Science) in Advertisement # 04/2022 of University of Gujrat, published on 05th & 6th November 2022, with a closing date of 29-11-2022, do not need to reapply. However, they may submit updated credentials if applicable.

3. Applicants must submit four sets (for the post of Professor) or two sets (for Assistant Professors) containing UOG Application Forms, attested copies of degrees and both sides of Detailed Marks Certificates (DMC), verified degrees/transcripts from HEC/Boards, etc. Experience Certificates (verified by the respective employer(s) using the provided “Employment Verification Proforma”), NOC (if required), Domicile, CNIC, and recent passport-size photographs with each complete application form. Incomplete applications or those with a lesser number of sets will be considered incomplete and liable to be rejected.

4. For the post of Professor, applicants must also submit/attach four DVDs containing soft copies of all their credentials labeled with folders such as Academic Credentials, Experience Certificates, Publications, etc., along with the application/dossiers.

Fee:

• Candidates are required to pay the non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1200/- (for BPS-21) and Rs. 1000/- (for BPS-19) at any branch of BOP (Bank of Punjab). Applications submitted without the processing fee will not be considered or entertained.
• The fee should be deposited using the prescribed challan form generated online through the following link: “https://ch.uog.edu.pk/MISC/OnlineHRCustomChallan“. The original receipt (Department Copy) must be provided along with the hard copy of the application form.
• Please note that the University does not accept bank drafts, pay orders, cheques, or postal orders as payment for the fee. Only the prescribed online challan form should be used for fee submission.
