Vice Chancellor Jobs 2023 Pakistan – University of Makran

The Government of Balochistan is seeking candidates for the position of Vice Chancellor at the University of Makuran in Punjgur. The government is specifically looking for individuals who possess exceptional integrity, humility, and intellectual vision. Interested candidates should meet the following essential qualifications and experience:

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Qualification:
   • A Ph.D. in any discipline with a good academic record for a comprehensive university.
2. Research:
   • An excellent research publication record that meets the criteria for appointment as a Professor in the university.
   • A minimum of 20 peer-reviewed publications recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), with preference given to journals indexed in the HRJS system of HEC (https://hjrs.hec.gov.pk).
3. Experience:
   • At least 20 years of teaching and research experience in any HEC-recognized university.
   • A minimum of five years of administrative experience (after completing the Ph.D.) in the field of higher education.
   • Candidates with experience in executing research projects, senior supervisory/leadership roles such as Chairperson, Dean, Pro-VC, quality assurance, international linkages, etc., will be given preference.
4. Strategic Plan:
   • Candidates must attach a separate strategic plan not exceeding 800 words for the institution they are applying for.
