Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (CUVAS) is extending an invitation for job applications as per the job positions advertised in the daily Dawn newspaper dated 12 August 2023. These vacancies are open in Bahawalpur, Punjab, Pakistan. We invite applications from Pakistani Nationals in various disciplines to engage as Visiting Faculty Lecturers for the Fall Semester of 2023.

Minimum Qualification/Requirement:

Applicants must have a master’s or doctorate degree in one of the specified fields, such as livestock management, poultry production, animal nutrition, social sciences, food science and human nutrition, economics and business management, statistics/biostatistics, computer science, biochemistry and biotechnology, or an equivalent qualification from a Higher Education Commission recognised institute or university. Applicants must be between the ages of 21 and 35.

Terms & Conditions:

• Interested candidates should submit their applications, along with all required credentials (a complete CV, a recent passport-size photograph, attested copies of testimonials, CNIC, domicile, and experience letters), to the Office of the Registrar, Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bahawalpur, no later than 30 August 2023, 3:00 PM.
• A non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1,000/- should be deposited in CUVAS BWP A/c # (17527901021503), IBAN # (PK34HABB00 17527901021503), and proof of fee deposit in original must be attached with the application.
• The selection of Visiting Faculty Lecturers will be based on teaching skills, and the University reserves the right to withdraw offers and decline candidates without assigning a reason.
• Age relaxation will be considered as per the Government of Punjab’s policy. Selected candidates will be assigned based on the department/discipline’s requirements.
• The remuneration for selected candidates will follow the policy set by Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bahawalpur, and applicable taxes will be deducted at the source.
• It is important to note that candidates selected from this advertisement cannot claim regular appointments.
• Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be entertained, and no additional time will be provided for postal transit or other reasons.
