Deputy Manager Disaster Risk Management Jobs in NDRMF

The National Disaster Risk Management Fund (NDRMF) is a non-profit organization established under Section 42 of the Companies Act 2017. It plays a vital role in providing grant funding to initiatives aimed at bolstering Pakistan’s resilience against climate-related and other risks. The organization’s main focus is to enhance the government’s ability to effectively respond to natural hazards and disasters. Presently, the NDRMF is in search of a skilled and dynamic professional to fill a performance-based position located in Islamabad.

The NDRMF has an exciting opportunity for the position of Deputy Manager – Disaster Risk Financing. This role is pivotal in the organization’s mission to enhance Pakistan’s resilience by providing financial support to projects that contribute to the country’s ability to withstand and recover from natural hazards. Required Qualification & Experience

• Qualification
  •  Candidates should hold a Master’s degree in economics, finance, or a relevant field.
• Experience
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in disaster risk management, with exposure to designing financing instruments aimed at mitigating the impacts of disasters.
  • At least 5 years of managerial experience, leading a team and demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills. The candidate should have the ability to work across sectors and lead interdisciplinary teams.
  • Experience in the insurance industry would be an additional advantage.

3. The deadline for submission of applications is 09th June 2023, before the office hours end at 1700 hours.

5. Age, qualification, and experience will be calculated from the date of application submission. It is important to mention that part-time, honorary, apprentice, and internee positions will not be considered as relevant experience.
6. All candidates must possess qualifications verified by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) or equivalent. Foreign qualified candidates are required to submit equivalence certificate(s) issued by the Higher Education Commission. If selected for the position, the candidate will need to provide HEC-verified degree(s) before joining the organization.
