Higher Education Commission (HEC) Job Vacancies – Federal Institute Project

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) is seeking applications for job positions advertised in the daily Dawn on 31 May 2023. The vacancies are available specifically for the project “Establishment of Federal Institute at Hyderabad, Sindh.” Pakistani nationals are invited to apply for these contractual positions, which will be based in Hyderabad/Karachi.

Applications are open for the positions of Assistant Director Accounts and Data Entry Operator. Candidates with educational backgrounds such as BCS, MCS, MBA, M.com, and BIT, among others, are eligible to apply for these roles.

How to Apply?

1. Online Applications for the aforementioned positions should be submitted through the HEC website at https://careers.hec.gov.pk. There is no need to send hard copies of CVs and documents. Candidates residing outside the Islamabad/Rawalpindi regions and surrounding areas will undergo Test/Interviews via Audio/Video Conferencing at the nearest possible location (Karachi, Lahore, Quetta & Peshawar). An application processing fee of Rs. 600/- should be deposited in HEC’s designated account (A/C No. 17427900133401) at Habib Bank Ltd, and the receipt should be uploaded as proof on the HEC website.
2. Applicants currently employed in the Government sector must apply through proper channels. General age relaxation of five (05) years is already included, and additional age relaxation will be granted as per Government rules. Experience gained as part-time, honorary, apprentice, or intern (during studies) will not be considered/counted as professional experience. Selected candidates may be posted anywhere within Pakistan. HEC reserves the right to reject applications without providing a reason and to adjust the number of vacancies as needed.
3. The deadline for online application submission is June 13, 2023. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
