Higher Education Commission (HEC) intends to establish seven (7) Seerat Chairs under the project titled “Establishment of Seerat Chairs in Public Sector Universities (Revised)” to conduct scholarly research on the following themes of the life of Prophet Muhammad.

Higher Education Commission HEC is looking for dynamic, qualified, and energetic candidates for the post of Heads Of Seerat Chairs, Leadership and Governance, Human Rights and Social Justice, Business or Commerce & Property Rights, Education and Knowledge,Social Justice and Welfare, Gender Studies and Women’s Rights Global Peace. The advertisement was published on 12 March 2023.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualification: PhD

Terms and Conditions:

  • Application Process The tenure of appointment will initially be for a period of two years and extendable upon satisfactory performance for another two years.
  • Retired Professors/Associate Professors will be given a lump-sum salary of Rs. 437,000/- per month.
  • There will be a review of performance after one year. If the Search Committee feels that performance is unsatisfactory, the appointment shall be cancelled on the one-month notice.
