The job advertisement specifies positions available on the basis of provincial/regional quotas, including Open Merit, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh Rural, Balochistan, Gilgit Baltistan, Ex-Fata, and AJK.

General Instructions:

Government Department employees should apply through the appropriate channel, and an NOC will be provided during the interview.

1. No TA/DA will be given for the test/interview.
2. According to government policy, a 10% quota for women and a 5% quota for minorities have been reserved in the Provincial/Regional quota.
3. A 2% disability quota will be observed as per the rules. Disabled persons must have a certificate from an authorized government Department to prove their disability.

Age Limit:

The upper age limit can be further relaxed as follows:

1.  Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Buddhist Community, Sindh Rural, and Balochistan (up to 3 years).
2. Released or retired personnel of the armed forces of Pakistan (up to 15 years) or the number of years actually served in the armed forces of Pakistan, whichever is less.
3. Government Servant and Contract employees who have completed continuous Government service of 2 years on the closing date for receipt of applications (up to 10 years).
4. Widows, sons or daughters of a deceased civil servant who died during service (up to 5 years).
5. Persons with disabilities (up to 10 years).
6. The closing date will be considered as the cut-off for measuring the age limit.

How to Apply:

• Interested and eligible candidates must submit their applications online through the National Job Portal (www.njp.gov.pk) within 15 days from the date of the advertisement’s publication in the newspaper.
• After completing the online application, candidates must print the system-generated application, attach two recent passport-size photographs, attested copies of CNIC and educational certificates, and a pay order or demand draft of Rs. 500/- in favor of FA&CAO/PR, and send it to Accounts Officer/Admn, Pakistan Railways, HQ Office, Lahore.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the test/interview, and all relevant information will be communicated through email, cell phone, or SMS. The date and time of the test will also be communicated through email or SMS.
