Karachi Water & Sewerage Services Improvement Project (KWSSIP), Karachi Water & Sewerage Board Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, is seeking eligible candidates for the positions of Monitoring Specialist and Evaluation Specialist, as advertised in the Daily Express Newspaper on May 13, 2023.

Qualifications Needed

The applicant should have a Master’s degree in Project Management, Urban and Regional Planning from a recognized university, or equivalent educational qualification. Foreign educational qualifications will be considered an added advantage. Knowledge of current and relevant computer software for monitoring and evaluating infrastructure development projects is also required.

Experience

• The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of work experience, preferably with M&E related experience and involvement in international donors.
• The candidate must have extensive knowledge of monitoring and evaluation methodologies, including both quantitative and qualitative data collection, processing, and analysis.
• They should also possess proven experience and capabilities in developing monitoring, evaluation, and research protocols and tools.
• The candidate should have a strong understanding of relevant standards, laws, regulations, and policies related to project management, monitoring, and evaluation, and must demonstrate proven competencies in monitoring and auditing major projects with compliance, IFIS requirements, such as those of the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, JICA, among others.

• Section VII of World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers 2016 Revised November 2017, August 2018, will be followed for the selection of the consultant.
