NBP Karachi Job 2023 (Wing, Head & Nurse)

National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Wing Head – HR Legal Compliance (VP/SVP) in Karachi for the year 2023. In accordance with our strategic direction, the bank is searching for talented, dedicated, and experienced professionals in the field of Human Resource Management to join their team in Karachi.

  1. Wing Head – HR Legal Compliance (VP/SVP):

    • Reporting to Divisional Head HR Legal Compliance
    • Education/Professional Qualification Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a recognized local or international university/college/institute, with a preference for candidates having a Law degree and/or Master’s or relevant professional certification(s)
    • Experience Minimum 8 years of experience in HR Legal Compliance, Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, Grievance Handling, Litigation, or Court Cases Handling, with a preference for candidates with experience in a bank, public sector, or large-scale organization
    • Other Skills/Knowledge Strong communication and people management skills, knowledge of HR legal compliance, governance practices, and internal control systems
    • Main Duties/Responsibilities Liaise and coordinate with Divisional Head – HR Legal Compliance, lead legal aspects of proposed changes to business structure, develop HR legal strategies aligned with business needs, advise and support the business and HR on HR legal matters, review and propose amendments in HR policies and procedures, manage the assigned team, assist in HR-related legal cases, conduct awareness sessions, and perform assigned tasks.
  2. Manager – HR Legal Compliance (AVP/VP):

    • Reporting to Wing Head – HR Legal Compliance
    • Education/Professional Qualification Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a recognized local or international university/college/institute, with a preference for candidates having a Law degree and/or Master’s or relevant professional certification(s)
    • Experience Minimum 6 years of experience in HR Legal Compliance, Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, Grievance Handling, Litigation, or Court Cases Handling, with a preference for candidates with experience in a bank, public sector, or large-scale organization
    • Other Skills/Knowledge Strong communication and people management skills, assess problems and make sound judgments, strong negotiation skills
    • Main Duties/Responsibilities Assist Wing Head – HR Legal Compliance, support legal aspects of proposed changes to business structure, contribute to HR legal strategies aligned with business needs, support the business and HR on HR legal matters, review and propose amendments in HR policies and procedures, manage the assigned team, assist in HR-related legal cases, align awareness sessions, and perform assigned tasks.
  3. Nurse (OG-III):

    • Reporting to Wing Head/Chief Medical Officer
    • Education/Professional Qualification Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a recognized local or international university/college/institute, with a preference for candidates having a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing
    • Experience Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nurse in a reputable hospital, public sector, or large-scale organization, with a preference for candidates with experience in emergency/trauma care
    • Other Skills/Knowledge Good communication skills, attention to detail, well-equipped in providing first aid, exposure to emergency/trauma care, proficiency in office and medical software, ability to work calmly in high-pressure situations, in-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures
    • Main Duties/Responsibilities Attend to patients at the bank’s Head Office dispensary, provide medication as advised by the Bank Medical Officer/Chief Medical Officer, check vital signs of patients, perform dressings and injections, travel with or to patients and ambulance during emergencies, assist in emergencies, follow up with patients, maintain records, update medicine list, and perform assigned tasks.

General Information:

  • Only shortlisted candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be invited for tests and/or panel interviews.
  • The employment will be on a contractual basis for three years, subject to renewal at the discretion of the management.
