Pakistan Navy Jobs 2023 – Join PN Cadet (Permanent Service Commission)

The Pakistan Navy has released a fresh recruitment notice in the Daily Dawn newspaper, inviting applications for Pak Navy jobs 2023. Eligible candidates interested in joining the Pakistan Navy as PN Cadets (Permanent Commission) can apply online through www.joinpaknavy.gov.pk. For detailed information, refer to this page.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for Unmarried Male Citizens of Pakistan as of 01 January 2024:

• Civilian Candidates: Age between 16 1/2 to 24 years
• Service Candidates: Age between 17 to 23 years
• Minimum Height Requirement: 5 feet 4 inches

Navy Slection Process

• The entrance test date will be communicated by the respective Pakistan Navy Recruitment & Selection Centers (PNR&SC).
• The entrance test will consist of computer-based testing in the following subjects:
  • Intelligent test
  • Academic test (English, Maths/Physics & General Knowledge)
• Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for preliminary medical/interview and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) at the respective PNR&SCs.

For inquiries, please visit the nearest Pakistan Navy Recruitment & Selection Centre located in Abbottabad, DI Khan, Faisalabad, Gilgit, Gwadar, Hyderabad, Karachi, Kharian, Khuzdar, Lahore, Multan, Muzaffarabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Swat, Sukkar, or Shaheed Benazirabad.

The PET standards are as under:

• Application forms will be provided to candidates who qualify for the preliminary Medical/Interview and Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
• Only shortlisted candidates based on merit will be called for Tests/Interviews at ISSB (Inter Services Selection Board).
• Medical Examination of candidates recommended by ISSB will be conducted at the nearest CMH (Combined Military Hospital)/Naval hospital.
• The final selection will be made by Naval Headquarters.

Note: Candidates are advised to consult a specialist doctor to have their ears waxed and teeth cleaned before reporting for the medical examination.

Educational Qualification:

The candidates must have passed both Matric and F.Sc or O/A level with at least 60% marks with any of the following subjects.

1. Physics, Maths & Chemistry
2. Physics, Maths & Computer Science
3. Physics, Maths & Statistics

• Candidates of O/A Level are required to submit equivalence certificate.
• F.Sc part-Il appearing candidates with at least 65% marks in part-I can also apply. However, they have to provide a hope certificate from the head of respective college/Institute.
• Completion of F.Sc/HSSC equivalent examination before 01 January 2024 is mandatory.
• If a candidate fails to attain 60% marks after providing hope certificate he will be disqualified at any stage of selection process/discharged during training.

Interested candidates can register themselves by visiting the Pakistan Navy website at http://www.joinpaknavy.gov.pk from May 21 to June 4, 2023.

Note: Applications directly sent to the Recruitment Directorate at Naval Headquarters will not be considered.
