The job advertisement published in the daily Express Newspaper on 7 July 2023 invites applications for the vacant position of CNC Machine Operator in Islamabad, Pakistan Railways. Candidates with educational backgrounds in Bachelor’s, DAE, and Intermediate will be given preference.

Applications are being invited to fill the vacant post in the Project of PSDP “Procurement/Manufacture of 230 Passenger Coaches” at Pakistan Railways Carriage Factory, Islamabad. The appointment will be on a contract basis for an initial period of two years, subject to the usual terms and conditions, as per the eligibility criteria mentioned below:

Qualification/ Experience

• Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 2nd Division in DAE/Mechanical, Electrical Electronics Technology from a Recognized Board of Technical Education.
• A minimum of one year of experience as a CNC Machine Operator is required.
• Preference will be given to candidates who meet the following criteria:
  • a) Candidates with more than one year of relevant experience.
  • b) Candidates who have received training or certification from a recognized professional institute.

1. The application form can be downloaded from the official website of Pakistan Railways at www.pakrail.gov.pk or obtained from the office of the Assistant Personnel Officer, Pakistan Railways Carriage Factory, Islamabad.
2. Applicants must submit their applications along with attested copies (by a gazetted officer) of all educational/technical certificates/documents, experience certificate, character certificate, domicile, CNIC, 02 fresh passport-size photographs, and 02 envelopes with the postal address and registered stamp. The complete application package should be delivered to the undersigned office either through registered post, courier services, or by hand within 15 days from the date of advertisement.
3. The eligibility of candidates will be determined based on their qualifications, experience, practical test, and interview.
4. The deadline for submitting applications is within 15 days from the issuance of this advertisement.
5. Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be entertained.
