PCSIR Laboratories Complex Peshawar, an R&D Organization operating under the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology, Islamabad, is looking for staff to work on its project “Up-gradation of Medical Botanic Center as National Center for Herbal Medicine (NCHM), PCSIR Labs Complex Peshawar“. The available positions are purely on a contract basis for a period of one year that may be extended depending on the approval of competent authority.

The following posts are available for interested and qualified candidates: Senior Scientific Officer (PPS-08) – 02 Posts, Scientific Officer/ Junior Engineer (Male/Female) (PPS-07) – 05 Posts, LDC (PPS-04) – 01 Post, Naid Qasid (PPS-01) – 01 Post and Driver (PPS-01) – 01 Post

Qualification/Experience Requirements

The candidates for the available positions should meet the following qualification and experience requirements:

• For Senior Scientific Officer Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences/Bio-Informatics or related degrees, with 05 years of experience in a reputed organization, especially practical work on GC-MS, LC-MS/MS, HPLC and Atomic Absorption, and experience in determining pharmacological activities of medicinal plants on animal models/clinical trials.
• For Scientific Officer/Junior Engineer M.Sc./M.Phil./Pharm D/Degree equivalent to M.Sc. recognized by HEC (one each) in Botany, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Analytical Chemistry/Chemical Engineering, with 01 year of experience in operating GC-MS, LC-MS/MS, HPLC and Atomic Absorption.
• For LDC Minimum BA/B.Sc/B.Com or equivalent qualification, with 02 years of experience in MS Office and a maximum typing speed of 35w/min.
• For Naid Qasid/Driver Minimum Middle/Matriculate qualification with relevant experience.

Eligibility Criteria
