Sargodha University is announcing multiple teaching positions, covering Professors, Assistant Professors, Associate Professors, and Lecturers across various departments within multiple College/Institute/Schools. Applicants need the UOS Application Form to apply for these roles. This job advertisement was published in the daily Express newspaper on August 13, 2023.

How to Apply & Guidelines for Applications

• Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the Test/Interview phase.
• To access the application form, please visit the University of Sargodha’s website at www.su.edu.pk.
• For all positions, candidates should fill out the application form, attach a detailed CV, and include attested copies of their testimonials.
• Each application must include two recent passport-sized photographs.
• If applying for multiple posts, separate applications with required documents must be submitted. In the case of being selected for more than one position, the candidate is obligated to withdraw from other departments.
• Foreign degree holders must provide an equivalence certificate issued by the HEC.
• A non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1000/- (for Professor & Associate Professor) or Rs. 500/- (for other positions) should be deposited using the original bank deposit slip/University Challan Form, with the payment directed to the Head of Account “Collection” in HBL A/C No. 00427991777803, University of Sargodha.
• Candidates currently employed by a Government/Semi-Government Department or an Autonomous Body must follow the proper channel when applying, ensuring their submission by the closing date; otherwise, their applications will not be considered.
• Applications received after the closing date, even if posted before the deadline, will not be taken into consideration.
• Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
• University of Sargodha faculty members under Regular/Contract terms may apply for part-time extra teaching classes for the advertised posts through the appropriate channels, and they are exempt from the processing fee.
• Providing false or incorrect information in the application form will lead to disqualification, and appropriate actions will be taken in accordance with the rules.
• This arrangement is for one semester, with a possibility of extension based on performance and next semester’s requirements, for a maximum duration of one academic year. Discontinuation may occur upon the request of the concerned Chairperson.
• Payment will be made on a per-hour basis, following the rates approved by the University, as per the established rules.
• The University reserves the right to adjust the number of posts based on departmental needs, and it may choose not to fill/withdraw any post or withhold appointments for any advertised positions without providing a reason.
• Hiring will be in accordance with the University of Sargodha’s SOPs/Regulations of Part-Time Extra Teaching, which may be updated periodically.
• The deadline for submitting applications is 30.08.2023.
• Candidates are advised to submit their applications to the respective Heads of Departments/Principal of Constituent Colleges/Director of Institutes/School at the University of Sargodha.
