The Water Management and Irrigation Department of the Government of Gilgit Baltistan, located in Gilgit-Baltistan Secretariat, is inviting applications from eligible candidates. We are seeking candidates who hold a domicile of Gilgit Baltistan for recruitment against contractual positions in various ADP projects under the Water Management & Irrigation Department of Gilgit Baltistan.

Applications are open for a wide range of positions including Naib Qasid, Assistant Quantity Surveyor (Civil), Assistant Executive Engineer, Surveyor (Civil), Chowkidar, Draftsman, Driver, Sweeper, Dispatcher, Accountant, Machine Operator, Assistant Engineer (Civil), UIX, Executive Engineer and Assistant Executive Engineer in Gilgit, Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan. Important Instructions for Applicants:

1. The appointment for project posts will be on a contract basis for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance or project duration.

4. The date of the test/interview will be announced after the scrutiny of documents.
5. The Department reserves the right to disqualify any candidate found to have provided false or forged information/documents. Legal action may be taken as per the law.
6. It is important to note that even if a candidate has appeared or qualified in the test, their candidature will be rejected if they are found to be ineligible during detailed document scrutiny. Therefore, please ensure your eligibility before appearing for the test.

8. Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply.
9. Only qualified and shortlisted candidates will be eligible for the written test.
10. Quota for disabled and women candidates will be observed as per government rules.
11. Age relaxation will be provided as per government rules.
12. No travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided for the test/interview.
13. For the post of Accountant (BS-16) in the project “Establishment of Irrigation Directorate in Gilgit,” only retired persons from the Works Department with a minimum of 15 years’ experience as an Accountant are eligible to apply.
14. Please submit your applications, along with attested academic documents, experience certificates, domicile, CNIC, and 2 recent passport-size attested photographs, to the “Office of the Secretary, Water Management & Irrigation Secretariat, near MP Check Post, Helipad Road, Sonikote, Gilgit” within 15 days of the publication of this advertisement.
