The Science & Information Technology Department in Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan has advertised several job openings in the Daily Dawn Newspaper on May 5, 2023, and is now inviting applications from eligible candidates. The available positions include Radio Communication Engineer, Admin Officer, Incharge Command Control, Computer Operator, Shift Incharge, Software Engineer, Generator Operator, Account Officer, Driver, Technician, Legal Advisor, Naib Qasid, Account Assistant, Civil Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Technical Supervisor, Network Engineer, and Plumber.

The Project Management Unit (PMU) of “Gwadar Safe City Project (GSCP)” operated by the Government of Balochistan is seeking applications from dynamic candidates who are local/domicile residents of Balochistan for the following vacant positions on a one-year contract basis:

Preference will be given to candidates with educational backgrounds in B.Com, M.Com, BBA, B.E, MBA, Primary, BIT, BCS, LLB, Bachelor’s degree, and other relevant fields.

Terms and Conditions

• The available positions are for an initial one-year term, with the possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance, and offer a fixed salary on a contract basis.
• Candidates holding local/domicile certificates from all over Balochistan are eligible to apply. Depending on their qualifications and experience, candidates can apply for multiple posts.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for test/interview.
• Recruitment quotas for females, persons with disabilities, and minorities, as set by the Government of Balochistan, will be observed.
• According to the Balochistan government’s age relaxation policy, the maximum age limit for all aforementioned positions is 43 years. No TA/DA will be provided.
• Candidates who are already employed in government service must apply through the proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) with their application.
