Health Department Balochistan Jobs 2023 – Walk in Interview

On an adhoc basis, there are job opportunities available in various districts (excluding Quetta, except for RHC/BHU/RHC positions in rural areas), Teaching Hospitals, District Headquarter Hospitals (DHQs), Tehsil Headquarter Hospitals (THQs), Civil Hospitals, 50-Bedded Hospitals, and Rural Health Centers (RHCs).

The interview date and venue for each district will be communicated to the candidates by the respective Medical Superintendent(s).

We are currently seeking candidates for the following positions in Teaching/Clinical Faculty: Associate Professor (B-19), Assistant Professor (B-18) and Senior Registrar (B-18).

Qualification

Candidates must have an MBBS or equivalent medical qualification that is recognized and registered by the Pakistan Medical Council. Additionally, they should hold an FCPS/MSIMD in the respective specialty or possess other equivalent qualifications in the relevant specialty that are recognized and registered by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council. For BPS-19 and BPS-20 Teaching and Clinical Faculty positions, valid PM&DC experience is required.

Specialists in various specialties are required for the following positions:

• Surgeon (B-18)
• Gynecologist (B-18)
• Anesthetist (B-18)
• Pediatrician (B-18)
• Physician (B-18)
• Orthopedic Surgeon (B-18)
• ENT Specialist (B-18)
• And more in different specialties

Qualification

Candidates must possess minor postgraduate qualifications such as MCPS or other equivalent qualifications in the relevant specialty, which should be recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC) or have valid documents as per service rules. These qualifications are required for the following positions:

• Medical Officer (BPS-17)
• Lady Medical Officer (BPS-17)
• Dental Surgeons (BPS-17)

Qualification

To be eligible for the position of Staff Nurse (BPS-16), candidates must meet the following criteria:

• MBBS degree (or BDS for the position of Dental Surgeon) recognized by the Pakistan Medical Council, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institute by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council.
• Completion of a one-year house job.
• Valid registration with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council, as per the service rules.

Qualification For Female Candidates:

• Must be a Registered Grade Nurse.
• Must be a Registered Midwife with the Pakistan Nursing Council. OR
• Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (four years, Generic Nursing) from a recognized university.

For Male Candidates:

• Must be a Registered A Grade Nurse.
• Must have a post-basic specialized diploma from a recognized institute. OR
• Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (four years, Generic Nursing) from a recognized university. Note: The qualifications mentioned above are in accordance with the service rules.

Walk-In Interview Schedule

To ensure uniformity, all districts will adhere to the following timeline for conducting walk-in interviews on a regular basis:

• In the first week of each month, walk-in interviews will be conducted by each Committee to fill the vacant posts.
• The lists of selected candidates will be displayed on the notice boards of hospitals/colleges by the respective Medical Superintendent (MS) or Principal.
• The minutes of the interviews will be submitted to the health department by the end of the same week.
